SASSY J 

Just a woman - but one of her kind. We don't know how she does it. But she does it: Patchwork Clubnight is all hers; programming, booking, hosting, flyerdesign and dancing forth and back from hollering in the front row to spinning behind the decks. She probably loves music so much it hurts. Sassy J is truely inspired and inspiring with all the things she touches. Come to a Patchwork night, hear her spin her records, try on her sweaters and shirts, watch her walk the streets - she is the lady in colours. If you haven't been a guest to her universe, you really want to hurry up and visit garden eden à la Sassy J. It's unique, precious and rare to find. 

This uniqueness, her elaborate taste in music and her feeling for raw diamonds didn’t stay unrecognized. In 2006 she was selected as a participent of the Redbull Music Academy in Melbourne, Australia. Since then she was invited to play her sets for example at the legendary Plastic People (COOP) in London, Sonar Festival in Barcelona or the SOS Festival in Murcia. Sassy J’s passion ist her “LA LA Music” – Disco, Boogie, Synth, Detroit Techno, Jazz, House, Broken Beats, Hip-Hop, ….or if they call it UK Funky or Wonky Beats nowadays… – music for mind, body, soul - music not to encounter without your dancing shoes well fitted.
